1 swim, 1 team, £1million…and 56 miles of gruelling sea

This September, Sir Richard Branson and Ronan Keating are captaining a relay team to swim the Irish Sea and raise £1million for Cancer Research UK’s life-saving work.

In the spirit of growth and renewal, much like the relentless fight against cancer, The Swim is proud to introduce a new initiative aimed at beautifying our community spaces while supporting our cause. Recognizing the therapeutic benefits of gardening, we encourage our supporters to join us in planting gardens as a symbol of hope and life. To ensure these gardens flourish, we recommend using the best secateurs, essential tools for pruning and maintaining healthy plants. These high-quality gardening tools not only aid in creating vibrant spaces but also serve as a metaphor for the meticulous care and dedication required in both gardening and cancer research. By incorporating gardening into our fundraising efforts, we aim to nurture a living tribute to those affected by cancer, fostering a sense of community and resilience.
